Day 3

I started out the day meeting a running buddy of mine from high school to go for a ride. We went for a road ride for a little over 2 hours, and I must say it felt good. During the ride Ernest was doing some intervals because he is starting to get back into cycling as well before we head off to UT. Since I had only started riding a few days ago I decided that I needed to hold off on pushing myself too hard before I get my endurance back to a reasonable level, which shall take a few weeks, well at least I hope.

After I got back from my ride I mowed my lawn as well as my neighbor’s lawn, which started paying me midway through the summer to do it, and then got all ready for Sofia to arrive.

She came today to pick up the Chi Chi Dog, since I won’t be able to watch him when I am in Austin next week because my apartment doesn’t want me having him there, and she misses him. I can already tell that Cocoa and the rest of the family is missing him as well, but at least I will be able to see him in a couple of weeks.

Yet while she was over I captured one of the most spectacular images of a lifetime, and found it quite funny.
